I'm going to post here about the things I'm doing with the game more frequently as opposed to putting everything in the Discord server

firstly, I've made a short animation for spawning into the first level in order to make the transition from the menu to the game less jarring, which unfortunately can't be shown here because of file size limitations(?) (unless it did upload and I actually uploaded it three times lol)

aside from that, I've been working on new weapons as either wholly new additions to the game or replacements of older ones, e.g the Desert Eagle is meant to replace the Revolver seen in earlier builds of the game, because I didn't like the design of it.

as of now, I'm working on further refining/polishing existing mechanics such as sliding and wallrunning, adding others like ledge-grabbing, and fixing bugs such as the "jumping while hugging a ledge cancels your upwards velocity" bug which has been prominent across all builds, which all of the people I've watched play this game have fallen victim to at least once.

after I do all of that, I can focus on making new enemies (there are already two new ones - a dude with a minigun and another with a rocket launcher), and finally making new levels.
