A downloadable game for Windows

DEADNET is an unforgiving, ultra-violent, over-the-top horde movement shooter.

Take control of User 774, a cyberweapon created in 2055 in response to the US Government's desperate efforts to stop the Neo Missile Crisis before the world meets a nuclear end... or so it seems.

Dodge and weave through entire platoons of simulated bio-mechanical androids with tight, responsive, silky-smooth movement that gives you near complete control over your movement through space.

You possess the ability to copy and control certain enemies, allowing you to take their weapons and abilities to make them your own.

Free the internet. Stop Armageddon.

If you enjoy I implore you to share this game with your friends, or join the official Discord server.

This game contains sound effects that do not belong to me  - specifically a handful from Half-Life 1, Counter-Strike, and SUPERHOT. These are here as placeholders and will be either replaced with original sounds or removed later on in development.

I keep getting stuck at the master boot record because the door that closes after every combat scenario begins won't open.

Thank you so much!

Hi, I didn’t get to play the game. For some reason, my fps was low. I am not talking low as in 30-40. low as in 6 fps. my laptop is the mid-range one that runs valorant-like games pretty well, at around 70fps without vsync. so its a performance issue if i am right. all the options like bloom were turned off. hope you fix it!

Maybe use a driver booster, I got mine off of Steam. Also, there could be a lot of bloatware installed, there are programs for that too, but I know a lot less about that.

where is the music? game is also very hard

Been playing through the most recent build and may have some suggestions:

  • Enemy hitboxes seem pretty small for how quickly things move around. Maybe increase them? Otherwise it can get pretty tricky to hit them.
  • Long-range enemies seem to attack too frequently and hit a bit too hard, especially since there isn't a consistent way of regaining health.

Elaborate more on “long-range enemies”. Do you mean any enemies aside from the Fodder units (the ones that run at you with knives), or ones more specific?

Mainly the rapidfire guys seem like they track way too easily

Just stumbled across your game and I REALLY liked it. I usually like these fps shooter things and the time slow just adds something. Currently the endless mode is my favorite. Keep up the good work.

Plays fluidly and nicely, but why do I vibrate so hard when I stand still or slide?

(+1)

this happens because of the player’s slightly unstable physics don’t worry about it lol thank you genuinely for your feedback, though
